Ficus Elastica "Ruby" 5”pot

The Rubber Fig is well-recognized as a low maintenance ornamental plant. The "Ruby" still has that same easy-to-care-for qualifies with but with distinct glowing pink leaves! The only thing you must be cautious of is that this version is not as shade tolerant as the non-variegated form. Yes, the "Ruby" can survive in lower light, but you may start to notice the pink/white disappearing as known as "reversion."

CARE: 

• Does best in bright indirect light-keep out of the direct sun 
• Rotate often to ensure even variegation and growth if foliage 
• Allow the first couple of inches of soil to dry between waterings-This plant hates wet feet! 
• Leaves tend to collect dust quickly. Gently wipes the leaves once/week for optimal photosynthesis.
