This split-leaf beauty is commonly referred to as the "swiss cheese" plant due to the holes on its leaves, called "fenestrations." Typically, the more mature the Monstera, the more fenestrations we see. This beauty would undoubtedly be considered a statement plant. The Monstera Deliciosa can grow to be very large, and its larger-than-life foliage takes centre-stage. Don't be alarmed by the long brown pieces on its stalk. Monsteras are natural climbers, and these are the plant's "ariel roots. You'll need to use a pole or trellis for the ariel roots to cling onto to guide the Monstera's growth. 

CARE

• Can tolerate lower light conditions but does best in bright indirect light 
• Does best in medium-high humidity but can adapt to household humidity
• Water when the first 1/3 of the soil is dry
• Use pole/trellis to guide verticle growth 
• If ariel roots get unruly, you can cut them off (this does not harm the plant)
• Does best with a chunky aroid potting mix
