 This plant has succulent, green velvety stems that are typically four-sided and grows in a clumping, upright manner that typically spreads over time. The most remarkable feature of Stapelia grandiflora is its large, star-shaped blooms. The flowers are covered in fine, hairy textures and are usually reddish-purple with intricate patterns.

CARE:

• Provide bright, indirect sunlight. This plant can tolerate a few hours of direct sunlight, especially in the morning, but too much intense light can cause the stems to burn or discolour.
• Protect the plant from cold drafts.
• Avoid allowing water to pool on the velvety stems.
• Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
• Prefers a drier environment.
